Sweet Reflections

When I started this blog I had a direction—to share my love for my husband, the life we enjoy, and the journey of a loving marriage.

Somewhere along the way I got side tracked. Mostly because I was slightly intimidated by the fabulous blogs I follow—I thought I couldn’t possibly be as interesting. With hindsight, I realized that I needed to be me, and if followers left, then so be it.

Like you, fellow tumblrs, I am anonymous to preserve my privacy while sharing my sexy, loving side with the interweb.

However, I am also tired of withholding some relevant information about myself in an effort to “fit in” with this particular tumblr genre.

Here are a few personal tidbits:

• I am an older blogger. Ageism does exist on tumblr, but don’t confuse age with the inability appreciate sex or love. Believe me, not much has changed in sex or sexual fashion over the years.
• Being older, I also appreciate how love can shape and influence your life and personality.
• I might refer to music, TV shows, or fashions that happened before you were born.
• I have MS and lupus, plus a handful of other minor health problems.
• I mention them because they have been part of my life for years. It has affected every aspect of my life, including my marriage and interpersonal relationships. I need to talk about it occasionally, but won’t dwell on it.

Steve and I are a normal, slightly older couple who love each deeply—and more than when we were married many years ago.

I want to continue this tumblr journey with you, and will get back on track with my personal insights to love, sex, and marriage.
